Although lacking the signature colorful-buildings-on-steep-hillside aesthetic of Positano, the most popular of the Amalfi Coast towns, Sorrento has plenty to recommend it. Wandering the cobbled lanes of the Centro Storico you'll come across picturesque calm piazzas, spectacular churches and more than a few palazzos, all interspersed with Sorrento's signature antique shops.
