We suggest spending at least three nights in Costa Smeralda, in order to being able to enjoy the pleasant seaside vibe of the villages, the quality features of the hotels and its rugged coastline. We definitely recommend taking a whole-day boat or road trip to La Maddalena Archipelago. Consider adding a fourth night to make room for a day trip inland, in case you do not stay in “Inland Sardinia” destination.

Porto Cervo’s compact center is easily explored by foot. There are also taxis of course, whose prices depend on both distance and the time of day and are generally quite high due to the exclusivity and popularity of the area. You might calculate around 30 Euro for a 10-minutes drive.
