Day 9
Day 9 - Your First Full Day in Alghero

Alghero Private Walking Tour
Walking by its streets you will discover the History of Alghero, called “Barceloneta”, the little Barcelona: in fact Alghero is the only Italian city speaking a Catalan dialect, and where you will also eat in a Catalan way. Visit to the ramparts with the Aragonese Towers and the Gothic-Catalan Cathedral of Santa Maria (XVI-XIX century). Alghero is also famous for its “Red Gold”: the Corallium Rubrum, the most precious Coral of the Mediterranean Sea, that is caught here.
Lido San Giovanni - The Locals' Favorite Beach
A very long strip of sand starts from the city and reaches up to Fertilia, a small hamlet of Alghero. You can get there on foot from the Busquet walkway. Here, as early as 1862, the first bathing resorts were founded, and today, there are still several of them, all well-equipped. But what is surprising is the presence, a stone's throw from the city, of fine and deep sand on which palm trees, junipers with large roots, and beautiful lilies of the sand grow. Not to mention the clear-blue Sardinian sea. Alghero’s main beach, frequented by the Alghero people at any time of day, is the best place to swim, sunbathe, and mingle with locals.

Day 10
Day 10 - Your Second Full Day in Alghero

Savor Sardinia - A Culinary Journey Through Tradition
Sardinian cuisine is renowned for its rustic, hearty flavors, deeply rooted in the island's history and agricultural traditions. Local specialties include porceddu (roast suckling pig), culurgiones (stuffed pasta), and a variety of cheeses, such as the famous pecorino sardo. The island’s culinary delights also feature fresh seafood, wild game, and unique breads, such as pane carasau. For a truly immersive experience, we can organize a cooking class where you can learn to prepare these traditional dishes, offering an authentic taste of Sardinia’s rich gastronomic heritage.
Day 11
Day 11 - Departure Day
