For a quite literal top experience, head to Diavolezza, the area's highest peak. This peak is accessible by cable car and has a panoramic restaurant, as well as advanced skiing (including moonlight skiing once a month, when the moon shines brightest). Far closer, Lake Silvaplana has the wonderfully photogenic Crap da Sass castle, and plenty of windsurfers. For views of St. Moritz, you can visit Muottas Muragls, which has a cable car, restaurant, and good hiking trails. Trade glitzy St. Moritz for a quaint, traditional alpine village by visiting Pontresina, or the nearby town of Sils, home to Nietzsche's summer home, and visited several times by Anne Frank.
