Gjirokastra Vacation Reviews

From planning our itinerary, finalizing the details, and embarking on a wonderful adventure our experience was stress free. All details of our trip were handled seamlessly from arrival in Tirana to departure in Skopje. I recommend JayWay without reservation.

We went to Albania in July 2024 for the history and scenery - and it was fantastic - but we were particularly surprised and impressed by the friendliness and warm hospitality of everyone we encountered. JayWay did a terrific job organizing our trip and we saw many wonderful places in every corner of Albania (with a lovely side trip to Lake Ohrid in Macedonia as well)

I love this way of traveling, the traveling logistics, guides, activities, and hotels are all taken care of for you. The decisions have been very sound and the activities and cities chosen have all been great. Very well thought out travel experience!

We found the natural landscapes of Albania breathtakingly beautiful and the history, both ancient and modern, fascinating. The food was amazing and we loved our guide. Albania was a surprise package for us, we didn’t know what to expect and we absolutely loved it.

Melita was very helpful with planning . She was also helpful with suggestions of various destinations. This is our 3rd JayWay trip and every one has been nearly perfect from start to finish

A Personal touch, Competent, Professional Staff that will make your trip a Memorable Experience. Every detail, need and request was handled. We can’t think of anything that was not taken care of.

It was the best holiday ever. Jayway Travel made our experience exceptional. We are in love with Albanians!

JayWay Travel took care of everything - they put together a custom itinerary and took the stress out of trying to navigate a new country. We can't think of anything that could have done better at the moment. We did want to mention we thought the guest page was very helpful during our trip as reference material

It was wonderful having JayWay Travel plan and recommend everything for you. Going to a new place in Europe (especially Albania) can be overwhelming. If they don’t know the answers they find someone who does locally.

A great experience from start to finish! The country was gorgeous as were the people. JayWay Travel did a great job!

The details of planning the trip were greatly handled by JayWay Travel. And the guides are fabulous making for a wonderful and relaxing vacation.

Albania and Macedonia were exotic and fascinating and the people were very welcoming to me. Without the localized staff to assist me I do not think this trip would have been so satisfying. I highly endorse all services.

Completely boutique, set up to your wishes, inexpensive, assistance always available, wonderful selection of hotels and English speaking guides. We were absolutely pleased by our mussel tour, our vineyard tour and especially the cooking tour. Everything went off like clockwork. We were able to add our extra side trips without difficulty.  Antonia did a fabulous job and enjoyed meeting her in Dubrovnik.
