Milestii Mici is the world's largest winery, with over 2 million bottles of wine stored in 200 kilometers of tunnels, some large enough fo cars to drive through, although the winery at Cricova offers better tours, of its 80 kilometers of tunnels. Alternatively, you can visit Transnistria, the breakaway region and unrecognized state that has kept Soviet traditions intact, down to omnipresent hammers and sickles, and memorials to the Great Patriotic War.
