1. Day 1 Arrival in Paris

   Paris is situated in the northern part of France. The city sprawls over both banks of the Seine River and on two islands: the Îles Saint Louis and the larger Île de la Cité. The historical city center is built around the Seine, and it has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991. For a glimpse into the oldest part of Paris, take a stroll along the Seine and around the 1st and 4th districts to admire iconic landmarks, such as the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris or the Louvre Museum, among others. But leave some space and time for the rest of the city's districts, as each of Paris' 20 arrondissements possesses incredible treasures to discover.

   Welcome to Paris! We'll arrange for a driver to meet you at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and drive you to your centrally located accommodation. The journey time to the city center is about one hour.

2. Day 2 Your First Full Day in Paris

3. Day 3 Your Second Full Day in Paris

However, with this tour, you'll have the chance to unveil yet another facet of this unfathomably picturesque corner of the French capital: its cuisine. Get ready to go up and down staired alleys to explore Montmartre through its tastes with dishes and drinks that range from traditional to contemporary, meeting the small-business owners that make all this possible along the way.

4. Day 4 Traveling to Venice by Airplane / Arrival in Venice

   

   To get from Paris to Venice, the best option is to take a flight on a low cost airline. On your day of departure, a driver will pick you up at your accommodations and bring you to the airport for your flight. Suggested Flight: Departure: Arrival:"

   Venice is a legendary city with a charm and atmosphere all its own. The city was constructed on more than 100 islands connected by a series of canals, most of which are lined with gorgeous palaces, beautiful churches, and all sorts of impressive architecture. While the city isn’t huge, it is packed with pedestrian-only streets and quaint, winding alleys that will keep you exploring for days. The city is very popular with tourists year-round, so you certainly won’t be the only travelers walking through the streets with camera in hand. This being Italy, the cuisine in Venice is delicious, and we can especially recommend the Cicchetti of Venice tour. Cicchetti are Venetian tapas, and this tour will introduce you to some of the city’s most iconic eateries and its most delicious recipes. If it’s your first time in Venice, we can organize a tour to show you all the most important sites. And since no trip to the city of canals is complete without a boat ride, we offer a number of ways for you to get a new point of view of the city and its magnificent architecture. It’s easy to while away your time in Venice, discovering new secrets around every corner.

   Start your Venetian experience off in style by arriving in a private water taxi. We'll arrange a transfer by boat from Venice Marco Polo airport to the closest possible point to your hotel in Venice. Please note that porter assistance from the water taxi to the hotel is not included but can be arranged at extra charge.

   Enjoy Venice from the very start! Depending on your preference, this can be a relaxing or active time. After that, enjoy an aperitif with a view of the Grand Canal at Erbaria (Rialto), where there are many bars with outdoor seating. Finally, dinner in one of the many restaurants in the Rialto area will definitely make your first evening in Venice a perfect one. If you arrive full of energy and ready to explore, head to the Zattere area and enjoy a stroll along the canal up to Punta della Dogana, where you can admire the view of San Marco and the Grand Canal. The walk to Santa Maria della Salute church is pleasant, and you can take the traghetto (a big gondola) to cross the canal.

5. Day 5 Your First Full Day in Venice

   

   Venice Street Food and Rialto Market Group Tour

   See Venice from a local's point of view! this tour explores the Santa Croce and Dorsoduro districts, areas normally less touched by the tourist crowds. This is a perfect chance to follow the same bar route that Venetians do after work, or during special celebrations. This tour's food tasting takes place in "Bacari," traditional bars that offer the best selection of local dishes and cicchetti (tapas), often containing delicious fish cooked in traditional yet creative ways. Every food sample is accompanied with a drink: a true Venetian experience calls for prosecco, wine, and grappa!

6. Day 6 Your Second Full Day in Venice

   

   Murano Island and History of Glassmaking Private Tour

   This four-hour tour will give you insight into the brilliant history of Murano glass-making. You'll tour some local workshops and watch glass-blowers in action while you learn more about how it's done. You'll have plenty of chances to admire these works of art and even to purchase some, if you wish. This is a great way to get a local's point of view on this important Murano craft.

7. Day 7 Traveling to Rome by Train / Arrival in Rome

   

   Today you're headed to the magical Eternal City. The high speed train service gets you there in a little under four hours. We've included standard class tickets in your package but can upgrade these to business class for an extra fee. We will arrange for water taxi to take you to Venice Santa Lucia Train Station in plenty of time for your train. Please note that porter assistance from the hotel to the water taxi is not included but can be arranged at extra charge.

   The capital of Italy is a vibrant, energetic and stylish city. While thoroughly modern in sensibility, Rome is also home to some of the world’s most important works of classic art and architecture. This city has been an epicenter for culture, politics and religion for more than 2,500 years. From the Spanish Steps to the Vatican, there are more than enough sights to keep even the most active tourists busy and even somewhere as popular as Rome you can find places just off the tourist trail and bustling with locals. But it’s also nice to slow down and enjoy Rome’s famous cafes and restaurants, which can be just as beguiling as the buildings. Lounge with an espresso on the Campo de Fiori and watch the changing light on the fountains and the facades. Visit the Vatican and explore some of the world’s most beautiful churches. Rome really comes alive at night, when restaurants and wine bars bring a renewed vitality to the city. You’ll also have opportunities for day trips to local vineyards, olive groves, and other places producing regional delicacies. No matter what your interests, or what kind of holiday you’re looking for, Rome will be an enjoyable destination.

   Upon arriving to Roma Termini train station, we'll arrange for our driver to pick you up from the terminal and take you to your centrally located accommodation.

   

   Aperitivo

   If you are strolling in the city and it gets to early evening (around 6:30 PM), well, it's time for the "happy hour"! An Italian happy hour is called "aperitivo," and most bars offer it around this time. You can find many different kinds of aperitivo, from buffet to "à la carte", where you pick a drink (usually a glass of white wine or some prosecco) and you'll get something light to eat such as chips, nuts, or slices of pizza with it. The best places where you can go are Freni e Frizioni (Trastevere), Doppiozeroo (Ostiense), and Rec23 (Testaccio - a few steps from Circo Massimo). From June to September, along the river (Lungo Il Tevere), there are many stands and places where you can go right next to the water on the sidewalk.

8. Day 8 Your First Full Day in Rome

   Focus on Ancient Rome with a Group or Private Tour

   Rome's origin story unfolds when you visit the Colosseum and the adjacent Roman Forum. Hear about life in ancient Rome and soak in the grandeur of these testaments to a lost civilization. We can arrange for a private guide to explain how the Colosseum was built and what happened to it in the years since. Afterward, the tour proceeds to the Roman Forum, the center of the political life of the city and, ultimately, the Empire, where the different purposes of the buildings, whose columns and porticos still stand today, are found. 9. Day 9 Your Second Full Day in Rome

   

   Roman Holiday in Love

   There are many ways to make your stay in Rome even more romantic. For a little light exercise along with your romance, head to the artificial lake in the Villa Borghese Gardens. For just a few euros, you and your beloved can go to the water and circumnavigate the impressive Temple of Asclepius, which sits on the island in the middle. Enjoy a spa treatment themed after some Italian classic wines. Choose from the grand Brunello di Montalcino or a bubbly Prosecco experience, as well as a tasting of the fruit of the vine itself. That theme runs all the way through your two-hour treatment, from grape seed scrubs to scented bubbles. 10. Day 10 Traveling to Sorrento by Train / Arrival in Sorrento

    Today you're off to the beautiful Amalfi Coast. The fastest and most economical way to get there is to take a 1-hour train from Rome to Naples and then have our driver pick you up from the train station to take you directly to your accommodations in Sorrento. We've included standard class tickets in your package but an upgrade to a higher class is possible for an extra fee. The whole journey should take approximately 2 hours.
