Take a journey through Poland from the south to the north, along the Vistula River. Explore the country's three distinct cities, Krakow, Warsaw, and Gdansk, both on private excursions and in your leisure time. Start in ancient and perfectly preserved Krakow, where history is tangible. Every second in the old town ringed by a lush park feels like being in a fairy-tale. You will trade the medieval towers of Krakow for the skyscrapers of modern Warsaw, where culinary delights, remnants of dark history, and romantic countryside programs will keep you amused during your stay. Standing along the estuary of Vistula River, the port city of Gdansk will leave an entirely new impression. Straight colorful houses crowd on the banks of the river and in the Main Town. Trading vessels once docked on the banks of this Hanseatic League town with tons of goods but the city has since swapped amber for high-tech as its main export. You will travel by private transfer from town to town with stops included at sites with outstanding universal value, like the Jasna Gora Monastery in Czestochowa or the historical city of Torun. We've enriched this itinerary with day trips to the most remarkable renaissance towns of Poland. Collect all the unique gems along the Vistula River and beyond during your tour of Poland!

This itinerary is for clients who enjoy luxury and private services. Transfers and excursions in luxury vehicles, accommodation in 5-star hotels, guides who look only after you. May this carefully hand-picked holiday be your next vacation in Poland.

In addition to the tours included we can arrange a number of excursions based on your own interests. All of our tours are custom, and this is just a sample meant to give an idea of what our trips are like, and the opportunities our destinations provide.

One of our team members in the region will be available to you leading up to and during your trip to answer any questions and arrange additional local services. You will receive access to your Guest Page, with its information on the best these destinations have to offer, including things to see and do, and other inside tips from restaurant recommendations to tipping advice. Upon your arrival, we will provide you with a local SIM that you can use to reach your local JayWay contact throughout your trip. In all of our destinations, we offer a variety of memorable 3-5 star accommodation options, including boutique hotels, charming B&Bs, and spacious apartments. With our first-hand experience, we can ensure they are all clean, comfortable, and centrally located, with local ambience.

Krakow may not be the largest city in Poland, but it is by far the most popular with travelers. Less industrial than Warsaw, Krakow was once Poland’s royal capital, and unlike the rest of the country, came out of World War II with its gorgeous architecture mostly unscathed. One glance at the city’s perfectly preserved and restored Old Town and it will be abundantly clear why Krakow is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. This compact historical district houses the largest square in Europe, where you can stroll, shop from the market, and sample some tasty Polish delicacies. Krakow’s cultural life is rich and there are more than enough classical and jazz concerts to attend during your stay. Just walk through Old Town any evening and you’ll find warmly lit cafes, restaurants and bars. Some of the most prominent sites in and around the city are linked with the grim, albeit highly important historical facts, as evidenced by the memorials in the Jewish Kazimierz district and the Auschwitz concentration camp located nearby - chilling and vivid reminders of World War II. You can also explore Poland’s natural wonders from Krakow, with visits to the atmospheric Wieliczka Salt Mine, and the Tatra Mountains all comfortable day trips.

There are places in Krakow where chefs and the whole restaurant staff are artists responsible for the fact that our evening in many respects, not only culinary, will be wonderful, unique, and memorable for a long time. One of these places that will allow you to experience highly professional service and delight your palate is the "Szara Ges" restaurant located right on the Main Square. "Ges" means "Goose" which is one of the specialties, and well worth trying. Also, don't forget to try their signature "Grey Goose" dessert - we are sure you will be pleasantly surprised!

Gdansk has a rich and volatile history, due mostly to its position at the mouth of the Vistula River on the Baltic Sea. That has been bad news for the city’s inhabitants throughout history, but today it’s good news for visitors. With its rare blend of historic architectural styles from varied cultures, Gdansk offers reminders of Polish, Prussian, and Napoleonic rulers. While some of the city recalls Poland, other parts will remind you of Amsterdam and other port cities from the north of Europe. You’ll have a great time exploring all the various corners of the city on foot, but there’s much more to do here than just look at interesting buildings. Old Town and Westplatte are two areas you won’t want to miss. Don’t forget to pay a visit to Long Market, where you can find many local arts and crafts. And outside of the city, Malbork Castle is one of the most popular day trips. History will come alive for you here as you explore the different tours and museums on the castle grounds. Or you could go a little farther afield with a tri-city day trip including visits to Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia, all of which have a unique charm that’s even more impressive when compared with the other nearby cities.
