Route for London, Bath tour

The United Kingdom is so full of charms that you could spend weeks there without ever feeling tired. Yet, one week is enough to take in its magic and get a taste of everything that makes this country unique. Start in London, Britain's dazzling capital, with its many royal landmarks, lush parks, and bustling neighborhoods. In London, you can enjoy peaceful riverside walks, a ride on an iconic black taxi, an unforgettable Afternoon Tea session, and copious amounts of art, history, and culture at the city's many free museums and galleries. For a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of this shiny metropolis, a day trip to the Cotswolds and Oxford wouldn't be a bad idea before heading to Bath, a gorgeous destination known for its Ancient Roman baths and beautiful architecture.

One of our team members will be available to answer any questions and arrange local services leading up to and during your trip. You will receive access to your Guest Page, with its information on the best the UK offers, including things to see and do, and other inside tips from restaurant recommendations to tipping advice. Upon request, we will provide you with an eSIM with data that you can use to reach your local JayWay contact (whom you will meet in person) throughout your trip. In all our destinations, we offer a variety of memorable 3- to 5-star accommodation options, including boutique hotels and charming B&Bs. With our firsthand experience, we can ensure they are all clean, comfortable, and centrally located, with local ambiance.

Itinerary

  1. Day 1 Arrival in London

London is a vibrant global capital where centuries of history blend seamlessly with cutting-edge culture, world-class dining and iconic landmarks, all set along the winding River Thames. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the city’s unmistakable energy and diversity. With royal heritage, renowned museums and a thriving arts scene, London offers an experience that feels both timeless and constantly evolving.
After landing at London Heathrow Airport, you will be met in the arrivals hall by your driver, who will take you directly to your accommodation in central London. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
A Late Afternoon Stroll Along The Thames

A Late Afternoon Stroll Along The Thames

London is Europe's most fascinating metropolis, home to one of the Old Continent's prettiest riverbanks. For a leisurely introduction to London, we recommend a twilight stroll along the River Thames taking in several of the city's most emblematic landmarks. Starting at Big Ben, Westminster Palace and the Houses of Parliament, stay on this side of the river and walk east along Victoria Embankment, with views of the London Eye ferris wheel on the opposite bank, wandering through the Victoria Embankment Gardens and passing the ancient Egyptian obelisk, Cleopatra's Needle. After Blackfriars Bridge, cross the pedestrian Millennium Bridge. As you do so, spin around and admire the dome of St Paul's Cathedral. Once across, you'll be right by Shakespeare's Globe. Head west to pass the Tate Modern Gallery and go under Blackfriars Bridge once more to arrive at the Oxo Tower, where you can drink in one of the best views in London at the rooftop bar while trying on of their signature cocktail creations.

On the other hand, the Victoria & Albert Museum focuses on art and design, from fashion and jewelry to sculpture, textiles, and medieval treasures, hosting frequent paid temporary exhibits to keep people coming back.
