On high tides, the quaint city can be battered by fierce waves, a fearsome but also irresistible sight to behold. At low tide, after crossing the beautiful seawater pool built in 1937 and reaching the beach of Bon Secours where many locals hunt seafood, it is possible to walk as far as the islands of Grand Bé and Petit Bé.
